Throwbacks ;)
/My last post talked about why I've been m.i.a. This one has more pictures I wanted to share.
We took a vacation and went to Iowa :) My husband Jeff was born there and has a lot of family there, so we go and visit every once in awhile. I still always forget how GREEN it is! We pretty much hung out and did a lot of fishing (check out that fish I caught!). There’s also a street there that was built in 1894 called snake alley that was just screaming my name for car some trails... Jeff drove down, I took the shot, we got it first try! AND there was an awesome storm that came through one night and I got some killer shots of some lighting!
Speaking of lighting, back in Tucson we watched a nice little monsoon storm pass by from up on Mt. Lemmon one day. It was so cool watching the lighting all around the city!
Can anyone guess what happens in August that I just can’t miss?!?!?! The Perseid Meteor Shower! Woot-Woot! This was a great day all around. We started the night with dinner and a concert downtown, then drove up the mountain for the meteor shower. (I saved my Snapchat story from the day so you can check out those good times!) I didn’t get a lot of pictures with meteors in them, but I sure did see a bunch! It’s slowly turning into one of my favorite times of year :)
My best friend Christine and I love to go for hikes and hang out outdoors. These were just a couple of my fave shots during one of our outings :)
And then of course, Jeff and I made some different photo op stops ;)
